Is Taylor Swift Married?
To answer this question we need to take a look back in time and just how much interest Swift has taken in marriage. She was born on December 13, 1989, and comes from a small town in Pennsylvania called Reading. At the age of just 22, she moved to Nashville because that is where her dreams lay. The country music capital of the world is where Swift knew she needed to be if she wanted her career to continue blossoming.
It was there that she met her first husband, a man from Nashville named Brandon Borello. He was a guitarist for a country group called Mt. Erie and Swift had her eye on him for some time. They dated for about three months before he popped the question and not too long after they were married. The pair were together until January of 2006 when Swift filed for divorce. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split and said that she wanted both custody of their pet, DJ , and child support from Borello.
