About 60,000 cases of ovarian cancer are diagnosed each year, with about 14,000 deaths. Symptoms can include stomach upset or intestinal problems, back pain and persistent fatigue. It is the deadliest gynecologic cancer in the US.

Symptoms of colon cancer can be similar to other illnesses, making it difficult for doctors to detect early on. About 90 percent of people diagnosed with colon cancer are over age 50.
