According to TVLine, the person who might make that cameo appearance is none other than Blake Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.

The rumor mill has been on overdrive since the end of HIMYM as fans clamor for some sort of update to Ted’s story that may be revealed in the new show.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, TVLine says that if it does happen, then this would mark Reynolds’ first acting gig since the end of The Captive earlier this year.

The site also mentions that Jennifer Morrison and Jason Segel might make a guest appearance. Both actors were part of the main cast for How I Met Your Mother.

It is their first reunion since the show ended last year.
