A silent voice is a Japanese animated teen psychological drama film directed by Naoko Yamada and produced by Eharu Ōhashi, Shinichi Nakamura, Mikio Uetsuki, Toshio Iizuka, Kensuke Tateishi this movie follows a boy who tormented a deaf girl in grade school. He feels unworthy of redemption but tries to make things right.

In part one Story revolves around Shoko Nishimiya who is deaf and bullied by his one of classmates Shoya Ishida in the sixth grade, but after that everyone stops talking to Shoya Ishida because he bullied Shoko. Principle, friends, and his parents didn’t talk to him and he decided to do suicide but one day he reunites with Shoko Nishimiya again and this time he wants to redeem his mistake so he tries to be nice to her and sets himself on a path of redemption.
