You already have the first weekend of April organized. If what you like is eating well, you are always committed to responsible consumption, you defend kilometer zero at all costs and you are in Barcelona, your plan is at All Those Market.
Two years later, the market for gastronomy and responsible consumption returns to Barcelona, specifically to the gardens of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. It has been a long time that we have spent confined and locked up, so in this edition, the organizers have decided to take out the gear and celebrate the event entirely outside.
If you stop by on April 2 and 3, you’ll be greeted with a Swiss cheese tasting, courtesy of Swiss Cheese. Afterwards, you will be able to explore, under the shade of the olive trees, the local craft projects selected for this edition: teas, oils, honeys, jams, Japanese mochis from Ochiai, the creamy Delacrem ice creams… (Yes, definitely, the bikini operation better to leave it, if that, for after Easter).
It will also be the opportunity to enjoy classic dishes such as the Gresca restaurant, by the renowned Barcelona chef Rafa Peña, and novelties, such as the sourdough pizzas at Can Pizza or Tamae, the groundbreaking Asian proposal by the two chefs Albert Raurich and Eugene de Diego.
Palates looking for strong experiences will have their special corner in the Spicy Corner, an ode to the spicy culture, its ancestral techniques and its noble ingredients. Six artisan producers of hot sauces, headed by Bravasa, will present their products and spread the benefits of adding a daring touch to gastronomy.
Once your stomach is satisfied and to eat down, the best thing to do is stroll through the natural cosmetics and zero waste stands, as well as those for ceramics, illustration or plants, where you can find everything you need to make your home a true temple of welfare.
Restless asses can also enjoy the free workshops, most of them designed for the whole family. Some of these with proposals as spring as decorating handmade cookies with flowers or planting strawberries and tomatoes.
And the kids also have a chill out area where they can relax and play.
