Asobo Studio, developer of Microsoft Flight Simulator, has long had the free Top Gun: Maverick update in the works, but the movie’s delay has prevented this content from being released. Finally, the arrival of Top Gun: Maverick in theaters has been set for May 26, so Microsoft will release the aforementioned content a day earlier, on May 25.
It’s still unclear what the Top Gun: Maverick DLC will include, but Microsoft says it’s content that will allow players to “experience first-hand what it’s like to be a Top Gun in the United States Navy.” we know that at a minimum it will include the F-18 fighter.
