Amazon has confirmed that Mike Frazzini, CEO of Amazon Game Studios and a friend of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, will be leaving the division he helped create to spend more time with his family. Under Frazzini’s tenure, Amazon Game Studios has successfully released New World and Lost Ark.
However, Frazzini’s tenure at Amazon Game Studios also leaves numerous flops, including Crucible, a free-to-play multiplayer shooter that was canceled five months after its release. In addition, a Bloomberg report revealed that Frazzini, an executive with no experience in the video game sector, was one of the division’s main problems.
