Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is the anime adaptation of the manga of the same name. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki and Studio Ufotable. The first season aired from April 2019 to September 2019. After that, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train was released in October 2020 that also became the highest-grossing anime movie.

The story follows the Life of Tanjiro Kamado who became the breadwinner of the family after his father died. One day while he was away from home to sell coal in the city, A demon king named Kibutsuji Muzan attacked his family. He returns to his home and sees every family member lying on the ground with blood all over them. 

His sister Nezuko is however still alive but unfortunately turned into a demon. He takes Nezuko to get her to a doctor when they encounter Tomiyoka Giyuu, a high-level Demon Slayer, who after watching Nezuko fighting to save her brother instead of killing and eating her, allows both of them to go, thus giving Tanjiro a chance to save her sister. 

The story goes on as Tanjiro encounters various other demon slayers and the story follows his journey to save her sister and defeat Kibutsuji Muzan.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Episode 7 Highlights:

The battle between Rngoku and Akaza is still going on. Even though Akaza makes a hole injuring vital organs in Rengoku’s abdomen, he still struggles to defeat. Rengoku slashes his sword to cut off Akaza’s head and was just about to succeed. 

The scared Akaza cuts his own arm off to be free from Rengoku’s grip. He starts to run away to hide from the sunlight as the dawn is about to break. Tanjiro goes after him and manages to throw his sword to stab Akaza.

Akaza still manages to run away. Tanjiro calls him a coward while crying for Rengoku. Rengoku calls him and tells him a message to be passed on to his family. He also tells him that he should visit Rengoku’s family home regarding the information about Hinokami Kagura. 

Rengoku sees his mother’s ghost and asks her if he did well, her mother replies that she was proud of him and he passes on to the other world with a heartwarming smile on his face.
