Destiny 2 Season 16 ‘The Witch Queen’ was initially said to be released in November 2021, but due to some reasons, the release was postponed to early 2022. Many believed that by this time a new sequel of Destiny would be released, but to players’ surprise Bungie during an interview stated that it had no plans to release or even work on Destiny 3 as it would require everyone to start from the beginning, also, they according to them preferred to focus on Destiny 2.
Season of the Lost that is the latest season of the game carries the responsibility of carrying the game in its current condition till the release of The Witch Queen that also coincides with the release of season 16 thus it has now officially been declared as the longest-running season till now.
Season 16 is all set to be released on 22nd February 2022, which is also the day of the premiere of ‘The Witch Queen’.

Since it’s the 30th anniversary of Bungie on December 7, many improvements are on the way. With all the feedback that it received from the Destiny community Bungie’s developers have determined many improvements that could be made to the game to better the in-game experience.

Through some obvious sources, we got to know that Bungie was testing destructible environments. There isn’t any confirmation of such a feature coming in season 15, we can imagine such a change coming to action as a consequence of a large change that we all could feel is coming with season 16.
