eFootball 2022 update 1.0.0 will be available on April 14

After starring in one of the biggest fiascoes in recent times, Konami wants players to give eFootball 2022 another chance with the release of update 1.0.0, which will be available on April 14. Those who will have to wait a little longer are the users of iOS and Android, whose version has been delayed again.

“Offering all fans of the king of sports the opportunity to enjoy a new soccer game whose realism is unmatched by anything seen before. With this goal in mind, we entered what would end up being a 2-year development period for eFootball 2022,” says the eFootball 2022 development team. “But we were so focused on getting the game out on time that we lost sight of the most important: quality. How could it be otherwise, we received deserved criticism from our fans who felt disappointed.

“As part of our commitment to improve the game, we have added new commands and numerous elements (both offensive and defensive) prevalent in modern football,” Konami’s message continues. “We have also rebalanced the game and fixed various bugs to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience. […] we believe we have finally reached a level of quality to be proud of. Hence the decision to release the 1.0.0 update.”
