A horrifying premonition saves a young man and his friends from death to come up during a racetrack accident but terrible fates await them nonetheless.
While watching a car race at McKinley Speedway, Nick O’Bannon has a premonition of a car crash that will result in many casualties, including several people that are in the audience. Nick convinces his girlfriend Lori, along with his two friends Hunt and Janet to leave the bus. A security guard named George Lanter, along with a racist named Carter, a mother, and her two sons, and several other people follow Nick out. Shortly after they leave, Nick’s premonition comes true and an accident happens. When survivors start dying, Nick, his friends, and George must try to find the remaining survivors and save them from death before it is too late.
If somehow you manage to cheat Death, you can be assured that Death will stalk you until a time it’s finished. This time, Nick O’Bannon’s premonition of a deadly car race spares his life and those of a few lucky others around him. But Death won’t take no for an answer always. And the visions keep coming in horrifying as one by one the crash survivors die in ever more strange ways. Now, Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he too reaches The Final Destination.

Season 5 starts with the group of friends traveling in a bus and heading towards a corporate retreat. Right before leaving for the trip Sam’s girlfriend Molly breaks up with him and while the journey he seems devastated no one could ever predict what would happen next. During the bus ride, Sam has a premonition of the bridge they are riding across collapsing. He immediately tells everyone that they must get off the bridge right now because the bridge is about to fall and they are in danger. No one believes him; however, several of his colleagues get off from the bus in an attempt to not only talk him about his crazy “dream” but to stop him as he goes running off to the bus with his girlfriend Molly. Almost instantly after he and several of his other colleagues get across the bridge the bridge collapsed and ended up killing several people. Sam then comes under investigation for potentially being a terrorist who caused the bridge to collapse because he knows that bridge is going to collapse.
As if things could not get any worst the whole movie entails several friends dying in bizarre incidents. While many of the deaths are very random occurrences and quite frankly unpredictable to other people while it is very predictable to Sam who realizes that the incidents all fall into a sequence. Everyone who dies in his premonition seems to be dying in order in real life.
Once Sam realizes the sequence everyone begins to seek his advice after each person wondering who’s next to die so that they can continue to escape death. This movie may be the best Final Destination I have ever seen other than the first one. It leaves every viewer wondering question can you really escape death and if you do does that guarantee that someone else must take your place and die in replace of you?

Final Destination is turning 20 this year, officially. Since 2011 there has not been any new installment in the final destination, the last was 5 parts, previous year it was announced that they are making the 6th part of the movie. The final Destination producer shed some light on the plot of the new series and the amazing and potential set piece.
He said “We’re toying with having it take place in the world of first responders: EMTs, firemen, and police,” Perry said. “These people deal with death on the front lines every day, and make choices that can cause people to live or die… We’re thinking that world might be an interesting way into a Final Destination movie, and one which can also generate unique set pieces in a very credible way.”
In case you’re not familiar, the set pieces are the linchpin of the Final Destination series – bizarre chains of events that supernaturally escalate into mind-blowingly crazy fatal accidents. It’s a clever device, and I can only imagine how much fun it is to sit and brainstorm each sequence. Perry teased one we might wind up seeing in Final Destination 6, saying, “I don’t think anybody will look at a revolving door in the same way again.”
Digital hype spoke up to the series creator who feels too enthusiastic about the project and about Perry involvement, he said ” he s the master of crazy opening and set pieces, he told p couple of new things he had in his mind and I must say it will be a lot of fun.
