It is directed by Hernán Moyano and is a version adapted to the cinema screen of the film made in fulldome formatproduced and premiered at the Planetarium of the National University of La Plata.
Guatemalan astrophotographer Sergio Montúfar participated in the documentary “El Camino Eterno”
The Eternal Path is an impressive disclosure documentary that follows in the footsteps of the renowned Guatemalan Sergio Montúfar, in his desire to portray the stars. For this, he moves away from the cities and walks a path that takes him to the most important observatories in Argentina.
This documentary is made based on time lapse, in cinema and fulldome format and is one of the productions of its kind. Among the astronomical observatories that the Guatemalan had the opportunity are: La Plata and Córdoba, the Félix Aguilar observatory and the El Leoncito Astronomical Complex.
The innovative fulldome format is usually projected in domes of the most advanced planetariums in the world and we are very proud of the Guatemalan’s participation.
A documentary that follows in the footsteps of the Guatemalan
In 2013, Sergio went to study astronomy in La Plata, Argentina, where he started working as an astrophotographer there. That is how, over time, they began with this incredible documentary that recently premiered in Argentina.
At the moment it is not available in Guatemala, but they are looking for it to be shown in our country.
