Higurashi, when they cry, is the Japanese anime series which is known as the ”when they cry” in North America before 2020. this series is a murder mystery, psychological horror, and supernatural horror. This series is directed by Chiaki Kon and produced by Hiroyuki Omori, Mika Nomura, and Yasutaka Hyuga, it was written by Toshifumi Kawase. The story for this series focused upon a group of young friends living in a village and suddenly the strange event occur in 1983.
