The insatiable Season 2 finale, which is now available on Netflix, not only wraps up the current season’s plots by revealing the identity of the Pageant Killer and the winner of Miss American Lady but also sets the stage for a possible Season 3 plot as Patty Bladell (played by Debby Ryan) discovers a dark truth about herself.

Bob Armstrong (Dallas Roberts) gets framed as the Pageant Killer at the end of the season, while Patty becomes full serial killer, telling her former instructor, “Nothing tastes as delicious as killing feels.” After Bob was framed by the real Pageant Killer, Regina (Arden Myrin), and Patty killed her sixth victim, Stella Rose (Beverley D’Angelo), who was proven to be alive in a previous episode before dying at Patty’s hands for real, this happened.

Patty spent the most of the episode attempting to dispose of Stella Rose’s body, which she was carting around in a suitcase, waiting for the opportune moment. However, that moment never came, and Stella Rose was still in her case when Patty arrived at the Miss American Lady competition. Regina discovered her here, and while she had already hidden keepsakes from all of her victims in Bob’s apartment, she sees the discovery of Stella Rose’s body as a bonus in her effort to frame Bob.

Patty, still wearing her Miss American Lady pageant title, pays a visit to Bob in prison at the end of the episode. He understands that she isn’t killing people because of his bad influence; she is doing it because she enjoys it, and he is the only one who can stop her—if only he can clear his name and get out of prison first. Though Bob believes he is the only one who can stop Patty, the show’s second season ends with several other individuals who could bring her to justice if Netflix decides to renew it.
