Japan protests the passage of Russian and Chinese military planes near its territory

Chinese and Russian bombers flew together near Japanese territory on Tuesday, announced Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, who specified that his country’s government officially protested to Beijing and Moscow expressing “serious concern.”

These flights coincided with a summit in Tokyo of the “Quad” alliance, which brings together the leaders of the United States, Japan, Australia and India, who have expressed concern about China’s growing military influence in the Asia-Pacific region.
