He was also responsible for injuring Nobara to her death and he still doesn’t have any clue whether she survived or not.

After so many characters who died at the hands of Mahito, someone was actually able to kill Mahito. All credits go to Akutami Sensei, he was successfully able to kill him before any of the fans starts demanding Mahito’s annihilation. He was also a victim of karma and was killed by his own ally.

Now that Mahito is dead, it cleared out the way for Pseudo – Geto to now rule as the lone antagonist in the series now. The character of Pseudo – Geto is also known for this ruthlessness among the cured spirits but was not coming in front since the maniac Mahito was being extremely troublesome. Since Geto is very well capable of turning everyone defying him into dust in the fit of seconds, none of the cursed spirits will ever dare to go against him. This clearly shows that he will rule the world after it goes into the dark realm. 

What Effects It Has On Itadori?

It was evident that Itadori was not pleased with all when Mahito killed Nanami in front of the eyes of Itadori. It had a great effect on him as he thought that he was not capable enough to save Nanami. Other than that he witnessed Mahito killing many humans mercilessly and he believed that he is doing the same with the cursed spirits. All these thoughts affected the protagonist very much and lead to his character development and also started controlling his emotions.
