The kingdom is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. The story is set during the Warring States Period through Xin.

Xin and Piao are war orphans born during the Warring States Period and they aspire to become “Great Generals of the Heavens”. Piao on the day is taken by a minister for some unknown reasons while Xin is left behind.

 Months later, Piao returns to the village on the verge of death and requests Xin to travel to another village. Xin agrees and moves to another village where he meets a boy identical to Piao. Through him, Xin learns that Piao was taken to serve as a body double for that boy who is Ying Zheng the current King of Qin. Piao was mortally wounded during a power struggle for the throne. Initially, Xin was furious at Ying for being the reason for Piao’s death but instead decides to help Ying to reclaim the throne by ousting his younger half-brother Cheng Jiao. From then, Xin starts his journey as a soldier for Qin and then as a Commander on the battlefields of Qin.

Notices of fallen Zhao soldiers arrive at the streets of Kantan and citizens get furious that Qin isn’t letting prisoners survive and many are even ready to enlist in the army.

The noblemen of Kantan are already discussing about the security of Heiyou and Bujou when Kansou advises Kakukai to not back down because they have enough soldiers at these places and that merchants fleeting and taking all capital with them is the real problem at hand.

Kansou then advises everyone that if in case things turn really bad then they should run for the hills, an idea that Kakukai dislikes thus sends a messenger to General Renpa.

 The messenger convinces Renpa to help in Kantan. The nobleman is worried that even a small mistake on their part could be lethal for them.

 Thus Kakukai tells the messenger that the King has forbidden Renpa’s return. Ensei the messenger asks to talk to the King for that, worried Kakukai secretly orders Ensei to be killed and Kakukai can’t think of any man but ‘him’ for the work.

Chapter 702  of Kingdom manga is all set to be released on 6 December 2021, Monday. Rumors were that the manga is on break this week but we can assure you that there is no such news and that the chapter would release on Monday just like it always has.
