After the event of 1965, the Robinson family has been chosen for the 24th mission of the Resolute (24th Colonist Group). The interstellar Spacecraft decided to carry few families to occupy the Alpha Centauri Star System. Before reaching their destination, an alien robot ruptures the Resolute’s hull.
This forces the Robinson family to land on a nearby habitable planet. But with a strange environment and their own uncomfortableness, they search their way back to the Resolute.
