Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has canceled his planned concerts in Poland in the face of outrage over his stance on Russia’s war in Ukraine, according to organizers.

A representative of the Tauron Arena in Krakow, where Waters would make two appearances in April, said they will no longer take place.

“Roger Waters’ agent decided to withdraw, without giving any reason for the dates,” said Lukasz Pytko, of the Tauron Arena, in statements broadcast by various Polish media.

The website for Waters’ “This Is Not a Drill” concert tour did not list the Krakow performances scheduled for April 21-22.

Krakow councilors are scheduled to vote next week on a proposal to declare Waters persona non grata to express their “outrage” at the musician’s stance on the conflict in Ukraine.

Waters wrote an open letter to Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska earlier this month in which she blamed “extreme nationalists” in Ukraine for “putting her country on the path to this disastrous war.”

The musician also censured the West – and Washington in particular – for supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Waters also criticized NATO and accused it of provoking Russia.
