Senegalese striker from Liverpool Sadio Mané arrived in Munich on Tuesday to undergo a medical visit before his expected signing with Bayern, the Bild newspaper and the specialized magazine Kicker report.
After arriving on a private plane, Mané, 30, was taken to a city hospital, where a Bayern Munich doctor was waiting for him.
It is a further step towards his move to the German champion club for an estimated €40m ($42m).
Sadio Mané could sign for three seasons and his first press conference in his new colors would take place on Wednesday.
A Ballon d’Or candidate this year, the Africa Cup of Nations winner with Senegal and Champions League finalist with Liverpool would strengthen a club that is about to lose its Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.
