The anime TV series “Shikizakura” was co-produced by Chukyo TV and the animation was done by studio Sublimation. The series is directed by Shinya Sugai, directed by Go Kurosaki, and features character designs by Manabu Nakatake. The series premieres in October 2021.
The life of an ordinary high school boy, Kakeru Miwa, is suddenly turned upside down when faced with a supernatural threat when society is attacked by Onis. They are demonic beings from another world who kill people and eat them alive. The story follows Kakeru and his gang as they fight this threat to humanity. It turns out that Kakeru is leading this battle against the Onis. Luckily for him, he was given an armor that could help him complete his mission: Yoroi. As the war between species escalates, he joins a group of elite warriors who protect the world from supernatural and other threats.

Kaeda apologized for the confusion and let the last Oni escape. In the morning this man wakes up and wonders why he is sitting on a park bench. The man decided to visit his mother. Kaeda realized that Oni gave birth to weak souls and accepted their bodies using them as vessels for earth manifestation. The crew talks about the last encounter with the Oni and how they did a great job saving the ship. Kakeru swears that they will protect all and defeat all Oni because this is their main mission. Worried about something, Kaeda tells Kakeru to stop the feat.
The crew comforts Kaeda that no one blames her for their collaboration and that they should help her bring the final Oni. Kaeda believed it was her fault and left the room. She instructed them that they would join the forthcoming day. Kakeru wants to join her but realizes that it is a girl’s job; they will work it out. Oka tells Kakeru not to interfere in girl’s matters and they are only girls here and it will be difficult for boys.
