Kosuke Mikado, a bookstore employee, can see ghosts from an early age, which frightens him. One day he meets Rihito Hiyakawa, a fearless exorcist who knows no social boundaries. Hiyakawa has the power to see and exorcise spirits by infiltrating Mikado’s body and imploring him to be his attendant. When the two work together, they learn that a supernatural incident is closely related to a high school student named Erica Hiura who works as a mercenary necromancer to curse others. As the investigation was going on by Mikado and Hiyakawa, Mikado starts to understand that Hiyakawa is hiding a secret.

Hanzawa was surprised because he never found a clue about the shop where people entered and went missing. Even the owners have no criminal activities and it is strange because they are clean and have nothing to do with criminal activities. Mikado didn’t know because he wasn’t a detective like Hanzawa. He offers Hanzawa to return with Rihito, as he is of no help. Therefore, Hanzawa agrees and Mikado determines to call Rihito. Before he called, they were talking about Rihito because he told them he had no friends or family.
Hanzawa thought Rihito had been through a lot, but he was glad he was an honest person. They understood that something was strange because everyone who passed by looked into the shop and never saw their faces. Hanzawa agreed to take a glimpse and told Mikado to call Rihito. Mikado talks to Rihito and Hanzawa returns, revealing that the citizens don’t even make eye contact. Rihito tells Mikadoi how to handle the case, and Mikado obeys all orders. Hanzawa also helped him.
