As a kid, We have all been told about how our planet is the most beautiful planet among others in our solar system. But growing up, I have witnessed a lot of things that convince me that the beauty of our planet has been decreasing constantly with no signs of recovery.

The major cause of this decreasing beauty of our planet is Global Warming. Most of you people know what global warming is, but for those who don’t, I will explain it.

Global Industrialisation, technological advancements, and constant urbanization over the past century have resulted in an increase in the global temperature which in turn, has resulted in glacier melting, rising sea levels hurricanes, climate change, and many more.

What Are The Causes Of Global Warming?

Global Warming is caused due to the absorption of heat and solar radiation that would usually bounce of the surface of the Earth by the various air pollutants that are called greenhouse gases.

The increase of these greenhouse gases is directly attributed to various human activities such as:

• Burning of fossil fuels
• Increased use of Air conditioners and  Refrigerator that release CFC’S
• Deforestation for the sake of Urbanization
• Excessive exploitation of natural resources

 Ways To Save Planet Earth From Global Warming

1. Planting Trees

As I’ve told you in the above section, deforestation is one of the human activities that directly affect the temperature and climate. Plants and trees through photosynthesis help in reducing CO2 which is the major air pollutant among the greenhouse gases and increasing Oxygen also they play their part in Water Cycle thus keeping the process of rainfall going.

2. Use Public Transport

Yes, I guess most of you saw it coming. Cars account for more than 82% of smoke emissions from all transportations and burn up more fuel than some industries on an average annual basis. Going for public transport or even sharing your ride can make a change. 

4. Adapt The Three R’s

Adapting the three R’s that is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle will solve most of the Environmental problems. Reusing the bottles, containers, and many other items and trying to reduce the plastic goods or the non-biodegradable items that you usually buy and recycle the waste items instead of throwing them away will help a lot in reducing the greenhouse gases as most of the garbage is burnt and it results in a lot of smoke emission.

5. Adopt Solar Energy

Going for solar appliances rather than the ones that use exhaustive resources is one of the best things you could do for Earth. Some governments even give discounts and incentives to those who are looking to go solar

So try not to waste energy, conserve water, and plant a tree on every birthday of your family.
