In episode 12, Fushi transforms into the Oniguma and tries to prevent the roof from falling as others escape. After Gugu is rescued, he barges into the house and gets Rean’s parents out. The two brothers fight against the Nokker, but the creature gradually conquers them. We saw that it took the Oniguma from Fushi and turns into it a stone version.
Gugu dies while protecting Rean. We also witnessed Fushi transforming into Gugu and brutally attacking the Nokker. However, the creature manages to escape.
