Biden was born on Nov. 20, 1942, thus he was 78 years old by the time he became the 46th president of the United States which made him the oldest president in American history. However, he was merely 29 years old when he was elected to the U.S. Senate, making him one of the youngest people to be elected to Congress.

2- Personal Life Had A Painful history

His first wife namely Nelia died in a car crash while she went on Christmas shopping in 1972 along with his 1-year-old daughter, Naomi. However, their two other children, Beau and Hunter, survived the crash but were severely injured. He later met Jill on a blind date in 1975, whereby he interestingly asked her five times before she finally married him on June 17, 1977. His son Beau Biden, died due to brain cancer in 2015. He was 46 years old.

He grew up with a stutter and was struggling with it for about till he was 20 years old but he himself overcome it and would recite the poems of famous poets such as Yeats and Emerson to work on his public speaking. Before winning the 2020 elections he campaigns almost two times before too in 1987 and 2008.

A spokeswoman for the former president Obama said he had relied on Biden’s “knowledge, insight, and judgment throughout both campaigns and the entire presidency”.  He is main of great intelligence which assured him the presidency which can be easily recognizable by the fact that during the hazardous pandemic he preferred virtual campaign, unlike his opponents who organized unmask rallies and even protests after his winning.
