Genryusai Yamamoto is better known as one of the badass characters in the history of bleach. The character is more than two thousand and one hundred years in age. From the very beginning of the anime series, you can see Genryusai Yamamoto as Caption of 1st Division and Captian Commander of the whole Gotei 13. The man is termed as the most powerful shinigami alive in the history of soul society. What makes him this strong? of course his experience and the zanpakuto he yields named Ryujin Jakka – the most powerful fire zanpakuto of history – make him the deadliest character of all time.

The Thousand-Year Blood War arc is the final concluding arc of the series. The arc is not animated yet but it is completed in the manga. The publishers are planning to animate the final arc and it is most likely to be out by the beginning of 2022. The TYBW arc is one of the most exciting arcs of the whole series because most of the characters are going to reveal the full extent of their powers.
But the question arises, what becomes of the most powerful character of the series? If Genryusai Yamamoto is extremely powerful, above all other characters, how will he end up by the end of the TYBW arc?
Genryusai Yamamoto Bankai:

In the final arc when they are going to face the toughest opponent of all time Yawach, Genryusai Yamamoto is going to reveal his Bankai, yes you read it write, after his Shikai being so powerful, in order to kill that Yawach guy is going to use his Bankai, Zanka no Tachi. The reason why he never used his Bankai is that the bankai is indeed the deadliest.
Will Yamamoto Survive TYBW?
While he was fighting Yawach using his Bankai Zanka no tachi he used his all fighting strength in unleashing his Bankai. His Bankai is very well known to kill his owner because the Bankai fuses all the power of its owner into the blade hence making the blade capable of burning anything to its existence by only touching it. The immense power has a side effect on its wielder as its heat evaporates every single trace of moisture of a very large area. While he used his all strength, he was still not able to kill Yawach as he used all his power over nothing but fighting the decoy of Yawach, hence died in the process.
