After Bob Saget was buried on Saturday (Jan. 15), his widow, Kelly Rizzo, took to Instagram to commemorate him shortly.

“My beautiful husband,” Rizzo continued in a lengthy caption alongside a photo of herself with Saget. “This week I’ve been reflecting long and hard about whether or not I feel robbed of time. But instead, I’m thinking: How fortunate was it that I got to be the one to marry THE MOST INCR

In 2018, Saget tied the knot with a former Disney Channel star and TV personality in Santa Monica, California. Last Sunday, Saget died in a hotel room in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 65. 

On Friday, Ryan was buried at Mount Sinai Memorial Park and Mortuaries, where a small group of mourners gathered. John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were among the attendees at the funeral service for Saget.

“I got to experience this insane journey with him and get in his life for the last six years,” Rizzo said. “That time allowed us to make each other the happiest we’d ever been, and it altered both of our lives forever.”

When asked why she chose to write the song, Bonnie says, “I got to be the one to care for and love him. He deserves all of it. Because that’s how incredible Bob was—he was full of love.”

Rizzo referred to Saget as a “force” and a “special individual.” She plans to continue sharing “how fantastic he was with the rest of the world” and raising awareness of charities close to his heart, such as the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
