Thomas John Ellis, aka Tom Ellis, is a Welsh actor. He was born in Cardiff on November 17, in the year 1978 to proud parents Marilyn Jean and Christopher John Ellis. He has three sisters in totality, of which one is his twin. He grew up in England where he went on to gain a degree in Bachelors of Arts in Dramatic Studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Talking about his career, he rose to popularity when he played the role of Lucifer Morningstar in the Netflix hit urban fantasy series, Lucifer. The show was premiered in January 2016. He also made his appearance as Mark Etches in the supernatural drama The Fades.
