If Jim Harbaugh leaves for the NFL, here are 4 potential replacements to consider.

The NFL rumors are heating up. The latest one has Jim Harbaugh interviewing for the Browns job.

What if he leaves Michigan? Who will replace him? Here are 4 names that come to mind.

1) Pat Narduzzi, Pittsburgh Head Coach

Also Read: Dani Alves’ registration has now been verified, and the 38-year-old defender is FINALLY set to make his second Barcelona debut in their Copa del Rey match against Linares Deportivo.

Pat Narduzzi is well respected in his profession after having a very successful tenure as the Michigan State DC from 2003-2014. He’s been head coach at Pitt since 2015, and his team has improved every year. In 2016 they went 8-4, in 2017, 7-6 and this year they were 9-3 before losing their last 2 games of the year.

Narduzzi played linebacker for Youngstown State from 1984-87 and coached as a grad assistant there in 1990. He stops by the YSU campus every once in awhile and donated $100,000 to help with renovations at Stambaugh Stadium.

Narduzzi’s defense would fit perfectly for Michigan and his background recruiting Ohio fits Jim Harbaugh’s history.

2) Les Miles, Former LSU Head Coach

Les Miles was a superstar at Michigan as a player from 1970-73 and coached under Bo Schembechler from 1980-83. He’s been the head coach at Oklahoma State from 2001-04, LSU from 2005-2016 and now is doing TV work for Fox Sports 1.

If Jim Harbaugh leaves, I don’t think many will argue if Les Miles gets a call from Michigan.

3) Mark Dantonio, MSU Head Coach

Mark Dantonio is having another great year at Michigan State as they are 8-3 and have been ranked all year. He was Meyer’s DC from 2004-06 and has been the head coach since 2007. His teams have been very consistent and he has a strong resume with 7 bowl appearances in 10 years, at least 3 wins in every year, an undefeated season and trips to the playoffs. He’s also one of the best defensive coaches in college football.

4) Dino Babers, Syracuse Head Coach

Dino Babers is having his best year as a head coach after going 4-8 at Bowling Green in 2015, 8-5 at Eastern Illinois in 2016 and now 7-4 this year at Syracuse.

Babers is a very good offensive mind and could be a nice fit for Michigan’s offense. He was Art Briles’ OC from 2008-09 at Houston.
