It can be your phone, laptop, TV, or perhaps your refrigerator and  internet of things generally refers to the gathering of all those devices.

Simply, anything that has the power to attach to the internet and collect then the share data could be a part of IoT.

1.What Is IoT (Internet Of Things)?

Now, the question here what is IoT?

The gathering of all those devices that have the flexibility to attach to the internet and collect and shared data is called IoT.

Basically, we’ve got a tool that collects data from its surroundings using sensors and actuators and sends this collected data to the web where the processing of the data can happen.

There are many devices that may be included during this classification.

For example: phones, laptops, watches, refrigerators, washing machines, cars, and even homes.

Most of IoT devices have the word smart at the beginning of their names, smartphones, smartwatches, smart DVS, smart refrigerators, and smart homes.

Let’s take a much better example for our understanding like Smart house.

A sensible house has many alternative features that we are able to discuss one of the features is automatic lights, where the lights automatically detect your presence within the room and turn the switched on or they’ll be voice-activated.

You can say activate and they’ll get searched and the thing will activate for you. It also has next-gen security to keep your house safe.

It allows only authorized people to enter your house and locks up everything once you leave. It also keeps track the temperature management of our homes. 

A smart house can automatically adjust to the foremost, So you will be able to see how it brings luxury and ease into our lives

IoT allows remote interaction between patients and doctors. If a patient has any type of deadly disease then doctor doesn’t need to  be close contact to assist the patient.

Doctors and computers can give us the simplest diagnosis possible and IoT helps us a lot within the healthcare industry.

Farming has been one of the industries that have stayed with us since, the start of human civilization itself.

It is the correct time to enhance our traditional methods and shift them into modern farming to produce food for our evergreen population.

Smart technologies will definitely help us to increase production through new devices like smart tractors and other devices which analysis the production rate. 

IoT may help us to induce a stronger data analysis of the soil.

Let’s discuss IoT architecture. There are four layers in IoT.

The first layer is the sensing device, which is essentially the part of IoT.

It has sensors and actuators that collect the information from surroundings and support a selected function for instance preachers, sensors, gas pressure sensors and lightweight sensors.

They basically collect all the information then provide it to the embedded device.

Connectivity layer

After collecting all the information, it will store in the cloud automatically.This connection is mostly meet through methods like  Bluetooth, cellular, RFID, or NFC.

Data Processing Layer

Once the information reaches into the cloud then it is subject to the real meet of the full process, that’s the analysis part of the information.

The various forms of algorithms are use on the basic of collected information and other assumptions to urge meaningful insights and patterns.

The results of the choice are convey to the IoT device, which similarly made the changes.

User interface and application

This is a layer that most of us will actually see. In this layer where we can naturally interact with IoT devices.

Either it can be a touch screen or button on the device. In the easy way, it is the front end of the device where user are able to use the application or device.

I’ll give you a good example to understand this process, Now a day’s Refrigerator has the sensors which collect’s data from the surrounding so they can see what kind of temperature is it and what kind of item is store inside the refrigerator.

Once it collects all of this data then the data will send to a central cloud where the processing happens based on this collected data.

The system decides the inside temperature of the Refrigerator.

It would not be crazy to see what we can do in the future. Our future would be similar like blade runner and Iron-man movies, Where everything we can touch or feel.

In future, every information would be store in cloud and with the help of that our life would be easy.
