An Italian court, attended by an individual who opposes anticovid vaccination, ordered the laboratory analysis of vaccines with messenger RNA (mRNA), the plaintiff’s lawyer reported on Saturday.

The Pesaro court, near San Marino (east), appointed an expert to identify the content of Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech anticovid vaccines.

These analyzes will be carried out in September, lawyer Nicoletta Morante told AFP. According to her, it is “a first in Italy, and perhaps in Europe.”

The complainant, who has already contracted the disease in the past, is a fifty-year-old who works mainly in teaching and whose activity in Italy is subject to the obligation to be vaccinated.

According to Morante, his client is subject to administrative sanctions.

In addition to asking “to determine whether vaccinating people cured of covid satisfies the good administration of medicine”, he wants to know what proteins are present in these vaccines and if they contain “excipients for non-human use or dangerous to health”, according to a summary of the complaint consulted by AFP.

Treatment with messenger RNA allows cells to reproduce proteins present in the virus -the “antigens”-, in order to accustom the immune system to recognize and neutralize it.

In support of the civil complaint filed in Pesaro, the lawyer presented the opinion of a medical investigator, presented as an independent virologist, who considers that mRNA vaccines do not fulfill the protective function for which they are injected.

These vaccines, he writes in the complaint, “do not have the declared functional makeup” and the immune response they generate “is ineffective.”

According to the WHO, more than 12 billion doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide, with 60% of the population receiving two doses.
