The American dancing competition television series Dancing with the Stars started on ABC on June 1, 2005. It is the American counterpart of the British show Strictly Come Dancing, and one of several Dancing with the Stars franchise variations. Tom Bergeron was the show’s original host from its inception till 2019. Seasons two through nine were co-hosted by Samantha Harris, season 10 through seventeen by Brooke Burke-Charvet, and seasons eighteen through twenty-eight were co-hosted by Erin Andrews. The show was renewed for a twenty-ninth season, which will start on September 14, 2020, and will include new host Tyra Banks, who will take over for Bergeron.

The show’s structure features a celebrity paired with a professional dancer. Each couple competes against the other for judges’ points and audience votes by performing preset dances. Each week, the couple with the lowest total of judges’ points and audience votes is removed, until only the champion dance duo remains. The series got renewed for a 30th season on March 30, 2021, and will broadcast in September 2021.

Who Is JOJO SIWA'S Partner In Dance With The Stars Season 30

For its 30th season, “Dancing with the Stars” has returned to primetime. And after just one dance, the celebs and their professional partners already know that this season will be fiercely competitive.

With 29 out of 40 points, pop artist JoJo Siwa and professional dancer Jenna Johnson were the last to dance Monday night and top on the judges’ leaderboard. JoJo believes the night couldn’t have gone any better as the show’s first same-sex dance couple. “I didn’t want anyone in the audience to say anything. I wanted the audience to laugh and smile at the same time “Siwa stated. “And I simply wanted the audience to go, ‘Wow, two girls dancing together, that’s amazing,'” she says.

A tie between Olympian Suni Lee and Sasha Farber, as well as talk show presenter Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten, is one point behind them. With only 13 points for their paso doble, actors Martin Kove and Britt Stewart were at the bottom of the scoreboard.

“Dancing with the Stars” is always a challenge, and you can be pushed to win. “Fear has no place in my life. You only have one chance. We’ve arrived. We’re up and running. It’s up to you to make it happen “Kenya Moore remarked.

“I sat down next to her and cried a little bit right after our dance,” Cody Rigsby recalled. “It’s been a lot of labor, but it’s also an emotional release. I’m content. I’m getting a little choked up over it right now.”

Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess have completed week one of their reality show.

“It’s the unknown, and now I’m thinking, ‘This wasn’t as difficult or scary as I expected.’ Let’s get started on next week’s performance,’ says the group “Brian Austin Green said.

Next week, all 15 couples will dance again, but towards the end of the evening.
