Jovenel Moise, most known as Haiti’s president and also was a pretty successful entrepreneur and that is how most of his wealth has been accumulated. His predicted net worth is between $4 and $7 million dollars. Apart from their political career, he has many different businesses. Back in the 90s, he launched his first business JOMAR auto parts with his wife Martine which is still running today. During this business, he also began a project based on Agriculture that is Organic Banana Production which was extended to 25 acres of land.

In the year 2001, he partnered with Culligan which is an American Water Treatment Company with the aim of starting a drinking water plant but that’s not all. Afterward in 2012, in Haiti, he founded AGRITRANS SA which gave the initiative to the agricultural project NOURRIBIO to Haiti and which helped in creating the country’s first agricultural free trade zone. Jovenel delved into politics in 2015 and promoted important areas including healthcare, agriculture, education, and tourism.

In 2017 just after when Jovenel Moise became president of Haiti, he was hit with a number of money laundering allegations.

According to the reports of Reuters, The Central Unit of Financial Intelligence (UCREF) which is a government institution concluded a report which said that  “There were indications that Moise had laundered money through a personal account he held with his wife.”

Though he denied the allegations and hired a lawyer for helping clear his name. He said that “I am a hard-working entrepreneur. I started from scratch but I have always acted with honesty and integrity. It is a political maneuver. It is a form of blackmail as we are about to form the government,”
