Rip Hunter comes from the future. Having seen Vandal Savage conquer and bring upon the apocalypse on earth, Rip Hunter travels back in time to ensure this future never happens. With the aim to save the planet from Vandal’s plans, he recruits a team of superheroes and villains from the present to stop Vandal from succeeding.

Legends of Tomorrow is an American Superhero television series of the DC franchise. Having made its premiere in the United States on the 21st of Jan’16, the show has been renewed by The CW for a seventh season back premiering on the 13th of Oct’21.

Episode 1 sees our heroes stuck in 1925 Odessa, Texas after rogue Waverider destroys their ship leaving them stranded. Ava tells them that the Waverider has a failsafe box which she installed when it was in the Bureau’s hands. With a clear goal, our heroes work towards it. Astra using her tracking spell finds out that the box is in the sheriff’s station. Afraid of drawing unwanted attention, Ava once again reminds them of creating a cover story.

Nate Heywood, impersonating J.Edgar Hoover retrieves the safe, but the contents were already gone and taken away by Mick Rory. J.Edgar Hoover is soon alerted of the Legend’s location after a mistake by Astra. They are now forced to hide in Hell pocket dimension using Constantine’s key. 

Hoover catches up with them but is accidentally killed in self-defense by Nate. Ava then has Gary eat Hoover’s body to cover the evidence. 

Gideon is formed after a string of energy leaves Astra’s body.
