Mieruko-chan is an anime written and illustrated by Tokomi Izumi and Kenta Ihara. It was a Manga series earlier imprinted by MF Books and was released as anime in October 2021 by an anime television adaptation named – Passionate. This series comes under the genre of Horror – Comedy.
Miko Yotsuya is an ordinary high school girl who had a down to one’s luck. She can haplessly see the ghosts and spirits around her which she cannot help, they used to scare her and the ones around her, but still, she manages to keep herself together and tries to live a normal life as a high school student.
Mieruko-chan is a horror- comedy in which Miko saw many ghosts and spirits are sidling around her, making her uncomfortable. She also made the decision of not telling anyone what she’s been going through. Once, when she was hanging out with her friend Hana, she saw ahead which was severed in Hana’s locker. While in the class, the ghosts were fastening themselves around Hana, who feels nothing but Miko can see everything which makes her exceptionally uncomfortable.

In the last episode, we saw that Miko and Hana went to an ice-cream parlor for a treat and it was just minutes when Miko realized that she was standing in between a line of monsters and then suddenly one among them tries to eat her, but her friend Hana pulls her towards the counter unknown of the fact that a spirit was trying to hurt her. On their way back home they saw a cat straying on the road and they decided to click a picture of the poor creature and post it online so that someone adopts it. Then a man came to adopt it, but Mika saw a lot of dark and negative energies around him and doesn’t allow him to take the cat. Instead, she wished that a scary-looking man can take the cat who has lightness around him.
