Cliffhanger is a South Korean Drama Series that is to be released this year. It would popularly be called Jirirsan; which is another name of the series. The shooting of this series was halted last year due to a sudden rise in the COVID 19 patients in South Korea. The genre of this series is Action – Drama and would be released in the Korean language, subtitles will be available. The cliffhanger was firstly premiered on TVN and would be released and can be watched by everyone in iQIYI.
It is made by reviewing the background of Mt. Jiri, where the troopers of the mountain and Jirisan National Park climb and explore the hidden and mystifying places of the mountain, help and rescue the lost climbers and trekkers, and survivors. Jiri mountain has various types of visitors, one may have come to kill or end their lives.
Seo Yi Kang is the top-level trooper of the park and mountain, she has an extensive knowledge of directions which helps her to find a way for the lost trekkers. One fine day, she happens to get a partner named Kang Hyun Jo, who was an ex-military graduate and an ex-lieutenant but a fresher as a ranger. He left his job as a lieutenant after encountering a horrific incident at Mt. Jiri.
Cliffhanger will be known by few more names like Jirisan, Mount Jiri, Jilisan. Kim Eun Hee is the writer of the show, Lee Eung Bok is the director.
