Kaiju number 8 also known as Kaiju 8-go in English Monster #8 is a Japanese manga series created and performed by Naoya Matsumoto. It is serializing in Shnen Jump+, a weekly shonen manga since July 2020.

Its anime adaptation has not yet been produced. Kaiju No. 8 comes straight from the genre of shonen and demons. Later, Viz Media took over the rights to publish an English-translated version in North America. The manga’s plot revolves around an attack by Kaiju, English monsters who regularly attack a Japanese city.

The series is based on a Japanese monster named Kaiju. The Kaiju is responsible for the murder of the masses. Along with the Japanese Defense Force, he regularly attacks to destroy the population. Two childhood friends Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro vow to join the defense after their home is destroyed during their childhood.
