‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ is a romantic television series. It features the talents such as Song Hye-Kyo, Jang Ki-Yong, Kim Joo-hun, and Choi Hee-Seo.  They are playing the roles of Ha Yeong-Eun, Yoon Jae-Gook, Hwang Chi-Sook, Seok Do-hoon respectively. The show recently had its final episode on January 8, 2022. The series consisted of 16 episodes in total. 

What Happened In The Final Episode Of “Now we are breaking up”?

In the final episode, it was shown that out of curiosity, Young Eun’s father read his wife’s diary. Finding out about certain things he was informed about for a long time, he was seen apologizing. After returning home, Jung Ja comes to find no one at home but only a sorry note that is left in her diary. It focused on her father’s efforts in order to fix things with his wife and daughter.

The show had an open ending as we saw Jae Guk returning to South Korea while Young Eun started her own brand was running to places to get her big start. The two ran into each other at the same place they first met, Busan Fashion Week. Taking a full circle, the story ended at the same place where it started. And the only thing different was that the two now had an idea what they were going to get themselves into. The ending of the series left the viewers teary eyed. Looking at the end of the series, it can be fair to say that there might not be a season two.
