RE-MAIN series is a Japanese anime series. The series is directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda while written by Masafumi Nishida. The anime series has been premiered in July 2021.

Previously On Re-Main Episode 5 :
In the previous episode 5, with Mizushima Junior Team Minato’s team faces a tough time in the pool while also defeats them fair and square in all departments. The teammates are about to argue considering the match as Minato takes all the blame because of not standing up to the expectations. In the meantime, Eitarou suddenly runs away from the dressing room while not talking to anyone.
Afterward, he meets Minato alone while confessing that he has lied about being his friend before the accident took place. In actuality, They had only talked once, and also he used to admire the water polo prodigy. That is why the time he came to know that Minato no longer remembers anything then he chose to lie to him for becoming friends. He also had thought that Minato was just humble as he told him for not getting his hopes up though the match with the junior team opened his eyes and he revealed that he is resigning from the team.
On one day, Minato meets the coach Akimitsu Bizen and gets to know what made him so special. Later when he talks to Eitarou while explaining about it was a very consistent training that made him a star player as well as he was never a prodigy. It was a fact that every single day, the lot of efforts he put in the training has helped him stand out, and this means that he can do it all over again.
