Stellaris company can be said as a little late to the global electric vehicle party but on Thursday it assured to catch up and pass its competitors. CEO Carlos Tavares said that by the year 2025, 98 % of its models in Europe, as well as North America, will have electric versions.

He also said the company that combined Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot establishing four electric vehicle platforms which are ranging from 500 kilometers to 800 kilometers.

A fully electric ram pickup, Jeep Grand Cherokee these models are included along with the small cars, even there will also be an electric Dodge muscle car. The company said that electric commercial vehicle experts will be used for building EV models worldwide.

Also, it will have three electric drive modules for powering all of its vehicles and will take support of its scale for reducing electric vehicle costs. Stellaris expect to reduce the battery cost by 40% from 2020 to 2024 consisting of new battery chemistries.

Also by 2026, it is planning to introduce solid-state battery technology which can store more energy as compared to current versions. Stellaris also said that by 2028 Opel brand will go fully electric along with 100% of its vehicles in China being electric.
