Je Yi discovers that Ji Hyuk is the one who shot Su Yeon. Director Kang even goes to the high court to get his hand on Ji Hyuk’s case, Deputy Commissioner Do and Deputy Commissioner Lee got into a dispute over it. Finally, Director Kang takes up the matter and goes to bring Ji Hyuk to the NIS. Both are also teammates to clear his name. Deputy Commissioner Lee decides to release journalist Jung Ki Sun. They gathered a lot of evidence against him but now that they have let him go it sounds very suspicious.
