Written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers follows the life of Takemichi Hanagaki. His life is at an all-time low, running away from every issue, getting pushed over by his senior at work, and to top it all off he finds out his ex-girlfriend, Tachibana Hinata, the only person who ever loved him, was killed in an accident by the Tokyo Manji Gang. On his way to the metro after work, he curses his life for all the misfortunes he faced questioning where his life all went wrong. As the metro approaches the feels a push on his back and finds himself on the track, with the metro quickly approaching the only thing he can think about is his first love, Tachibana Hinata. 

This is how the Takemichi Hanagaki’s supernatural life begins as the collision with the metro has pulled him back 12 years into the past. Unaware of what has just happened, Takemichi soon realizes he is back in the past where he was still with Tachibana Hinata, his friends were still around him and he was living a much happier life. Determined to change his life and prevent the ill-fated future of his current girlfriend Tachibana Hinata, Takemichi will soon find himself deeply involved in the creation of the very Gang which took his girlfriend’s life.

We find ourselves in the midst of a battle following the death of Draken. Rokuhara, BRAHMAN, and the Kantou Manji Gang are in an all-out war against each other. We witness the beginning of Haruchiyo Sanzou facing Ran Haitani. We also learn of BRAHMAN members Benkai and Waka who, before the first-gen of the Black Dragon, were the ones that divided the Kantou Region into two. Nicknamed ‘Redcliff’ and ‘The White Leopard’, they were brought together by Sano Shinichiro, Mikey’s older brother. The chapter ends with South Terano, leader of the Rokuhara, taunting both Benkai and Waka as they both approach him.
