Finally, Virgin River Season 3 has premiered on Netflix. The show comprises the story of a woman whose name is Melinda “Mel” Monroe. Because of the death of her husband and son, she was at an all-time low. So when she looks at an advertisement as a midwife at a nursing home that she finally decides to give it a try. She was a nurse in Los Angles and moved to a town named Virgin River which is situated in Northern America while thinking that it might give peace as it was hard to adjust for her. After moving to town as she starts living in that town she gets closer to a bartender whose name is Jack. Season three of this show revolves around their story further wanting to move in and start a family.

Now in the end episode, Mel is pregnant. As she gets herself a pregnancy test which shows a positive result. Though Jack is not aware of it. After getting updates on Hope’s condition Jack forwards the same to Mel. Meanwhile, Jack arranges a night in together with Mel as he plans to propose to her. At the end of the episode, Jack proposes to Mel as he was in love with her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But that’s when Mel tells him that she is pregnant. Jack was no more agitated as he was all in to have a family with her. The quite shocking news was Mel was not sure if Jack is the father or not. The ending is explained here. When Mel was with mark she had saved her embryos at a hospital. So there are chances when Mel and Jack had split, she may have gone through the procedure of making herself pregnant. Considering the timings of several events in this season throughout, the baby’s father could either be Mel’s late husband, Mark or Jack.
