Yes, Goku dies in dragon ball super Episode 71, The Episode was named “Goku Dies! An Assassination That Must Be Executed”. In this episode, Goku tells that he has hired Universe 6’s Hit so as to assassinate him as a part of special training before the upcoming tournament with the other universes.
