The Umbrella Academy is American series based on a comic book with the same name. The comic book is written by Gerard Way and the series is created by Steve Blackman. The story is set in an environment where many women gave birth simultaneously without showing any symptoms of pregnancy. Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopted seven children and turned them into superheroes so that they can save the world.
The first season reveals how the seven of them come together to save the world from a global apocalypse. In the end it is revealed that the apocalypse was caused by Vanya, number seven who was enraged. In the end the seven of them were able to save their lives as they time travelled.
The second season started with all seven of them being entered in different time periods and soon manages to unite once again. Failing to stop the apocalypse, the siblings decide to save the world this time.
