Katie Price is a British television personality who has been involved in a number of scandals that have gained her notoriety.

In 2018, Price was arrested for allegedly breaking a restraining order by contacting ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancee Michelle Penticost.

Katie was prohibited from contacting Michelle for a five-year restraining order after she assaulted her during a school playground argument in 2019.

On Friday, Sussex Police announced that Katie had been arrested. They stated, “at 5:45 p.m. on Friday (21 January), police responded to a complaint that a perpetrator had broken their restraining order.”

A woman in her late 40s was detained and is still being held while inquiries continue. “If she is charged and convicted in a Magistrates’ Court, she faces a maximum penalty of six months in jail. A jury trial in the Crown Court for an either-way offense, by contrast, results in a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment.
