In the previous episode titled “Paniolo”, We see a wounded man riding a horse into a town. Lucy and Jesse interrogate the wounded man after they get hold of him. The man reveals himself as Kaleo Whitman who claims to be a marine, but It was a lie. As they investigate the site of the shooting, Kai and Jane investigate in the hospital and catch Whitman’s cousin carrying crystal meth. They meet Whitman’s wife but they get attacked by a drug dealer whom they manage to kill. They soon find out about the drug-dealing gang under the leader named Sam. They try to arrest him but he resists it and he gets shot. The team celebrates their victory at the ranch.
