‘See’ is set in a dystopian future where people are born without the ability to see. A virus has wiped out billions of people in the 21st century with the few survivors being left without the ability to see. Centuries later we see the inhabitants of the new world survive without sight as they learn to build and create communities.
The story follows Baba Voss, the chieftain of the Alkenny tribe, who marries Maghra who was three months pregnant at the time. The children’s biological father however was a rare case who had the ability of sight which caused him to be outlawed and hunted by Queen of the Kane dynasty of Kanzua Dam. With his offspring blessed with the genetics to see, Baba Voss finds himself facing the Queen in order to protect his family.
See is an American Science-Fiction drama written by Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. Produced by Apple TV+, the show premiered on 1st Nov’19 and since then been renewed for a third season with the filming taking place this year.

Haniwa and Kofun are reunited with their biological father Jerlamarel. Settling in, Kofun questions his father’s decision in abandoning their pregnant mother. Kofun’s apprehension towards his father furthers as he overhears him and a Trivantes general discussing about him and sister. After being found overhearing the conversation Kofun wakes up in a prison as Haniwa is being taken away by the general. The next morning we see Kofun being held taken outside the venue by guards with a gun to his head, as soon as they are about to shoot, Baba Voss comes to his son’s rescue as the duo search for Jerlamarel. A fight soon ensues between Baba Voss and Jerlamarel who permanently blinds him after stick both his thumbs in his eyes, after which they leave the area and being their search for their sister.
We also see Maghra being told by the Witchfinder to have her sister abdicate the throne. As Maghra attempts to persuade her sister, Queen Kane tells her the only way is to have her killed is because she will never abdicate the throne. After informing the witchfinder that the queen refused, they both head once again to where the queen is. In a surprise turn of events, the Witchfinder is stabbed after being distracted by one of the guardsmen who betrays him. Now dead, Queen Kane tells her sister that both will work as for the first time Queen Kane will have her sister as counsel. Maghra stares away from her sister, scared.

See Season 2 came to an end with Season 2 episode 8. With the new season being reportedly filmed in May’21, we will most likely be given a new season by 2022.
