The series follows the Roy family, the dysfunctional owners of Waystar Royko, a global media and entertainment conglomerate, as they battle for control of the business amid concerns about the health of the family patriarch, Logan Roy (Brian Cox).

Strong won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, while Cox won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama.

Succession Season 3 Release Date:

Succession Season 3 was due to hit our screens in the final months of 2021 and HBO bosses are still expecting this to be the case, providing there are no more Covid-related production issues.

Logan Roy persuaded his son Kendall to quit Waystar Royco to preserve the failing company, despite his claims that he lacked the killer instinct required to run it.

Kendall publicly turned on his father in the last scenes of the second season, in a press conference set up for him to make the announcement, branding him “a cancerous presence, a bully, and a liar,” leaving the race to succeed him wide open.

At this time, there are no narrative details for Succession Season 3, but Brian Cox, who plays the patriarch of the Roy family, claims the new scripts are just as good as the previous ones.

“Because he [Armstrong] never tells you about the following series, I nearly fell out of my chair. We never knew what was going to happen from episode to episode. But then he said something to me. It’s also a lot of fun. That’s all I have to say about it.”

He also hinted that Roy’s younger brother would play a key role in the forthcoming season. “It’s fascinating to see how young Roman enters the picture. At the end of Season 2, he proved his worth. I believe he’s the man with the hidden gun under the table.”

With the group photographed filming in Italy, it’s reasonable to assume we’ll be seeing a family trip to Europe during the third season, and the actors even got to celebrate Alan Ruck’s birthday.

HBO’s “Succession,” now in its second season, has quickly established itself as one of the year’s must-see shows. The dark comedy follows the inner workings of Waystar Royco, a gigantic media conglomerate run by Logan Roy, patriarch of the Roy family, and his four offspring as they vie for power and succession when their father retires. The show is a criticism of wealth, management, and abuse because the family is obscenely wealthy, and the characters are mainly unlikeable.
